Professional Experience

  • Seattle Symphony & Benaroya Hall CFO and COO (2018–2025):
    • Led financial strategy, operations, risk management, and capital planning for one of the nation’s leading orchestras and its City-owned performance campus. She secured over $20M in public relief, negotiated a landmark $17M lease amendment with the City of Seattle, oversaw $50M+ in budgets, launched major campus renovations, and advanced DEI and education priorities through board and community engagement.
  • The Garrigan Lyman Group (2004–2018): Held roles from Controller to CFO.
    • As CFO of a fast-growing digital marketing agency, Cheronne doubled revenue, implemented a NetSuite ERP system, led strategic pricing and planning, and helped steer a successful acquisition - bridging creative services with financial strategy and operational discipline
  • Open Flight Studio: Co-founder of a community arts studio focused on inclusive access, education and artist support.
  • BEON Media: Built financial operations for a media-tech startup, including legal and investor support.
  • Cheronne Wong Dance: Internationally presented choreographer and educator; taught at Tacoma School of the Arts, Bellevue College, and Velocity Dance Center.
